| Story (from apolloguide.com) Bon Jovi plays handsome American movie star Robin Grange who has come to Britain to star in a play written and directed by “Britain’s greatest living playwright” Lambert Wilson (Webb). Wilson finds himself in the difficult predicament of trying to appease his wife, Elena (Anna Galiena), while also juggling a mistress, Hilary (newcomer Thandie Newton) who he has cast as the lead in his latest play. Grange offers to help Wilson out of this jam by seducing his Elena and therefore allowing Wilson to spend more time with Hilary. Grange has no sooner taken up with Lambert’s wife than he also starts directing amorous efforts at his co-star as well. Wilson, who feels powerless beside the handsome American, becomes increasingly desperate to reclaim his life. Comments Nicole has a small part as an award presenter at the end of the movie. Nicole has been in many movies directed by John Duigan, and is a good friend of Thandie Newton who plays Hilary. Thandie also starred with Nicole in Flirting |
